Crunchpod recording artist L brings her latest piece of work off her debut album, Discipline to the screen. Producers L and Karloz M. push the composing parameters between Darkwave and EBM into a fiery dance hit airing from DJ streams to the dancefloors, to the workout classes. This catchy tune brings forth a visually compelling and refreshing taste from the underground electronic music scene.
Directed & edited by AJ Strout, Both L and AJ gathered a solid team throughout the year of 2021. Covering wardrobe (Miranda Sharp, Josh McVety) choreography (Neil Schwartz) makeup & hair (Adrianna Urdaz) on-set photography (Elisabeth Ruiz) Grip (Jared Eakin) cast and so many more. “Waste” music video covers the aesthetics of lust, bondage, and domination. L is determined to defy conformity through self-expression, polyamory, and self-love in this latest music video.
Mexican American musician, art director, and producer, L focuses on delivering a unique blend of musical styles between darkwave, industrial, and EBM while utilizing haunting vocal melodies with aggressive vocals. Through her intensely hypnotic dualities, conjuring both dark ethereal atmospheres, L displays a transparency of loneliness, fantasy, and self-confessions through her lyrics and vocal arrangements. The Discipline album holds a collection of thoughts L has considered to learn, grow, and understand the world we live in. L is categorized as a universal design shape & symbol to better understand the deeper connection from and to the world in sound.
